In the 21^st Century, IRIDA was registered by the British Government, and has gained approval as the non-profit organization by the end of 2007. The Association works together with the outstanding educational institutions on interior designing to promote continuing education of interior design.

PROFESSIONAL MEMBER
The minimum criteria for the professional practice of interior design should be a combination of education and experience. Education should have been in an accredited school offering courses leading to a certification or a degree or diploma in interior design. Experience should be with a recognised individual or company practising interior design.
